The North Jersey Baháʼí Community is a group of individuals and families learning, serving, and worshipping together with the ultimate aim of creating a more equal, just, and peaceful world. We are inspired by the teachings of The Báb and Baháʼu'lláh, the Twin Founders of the Baháʼí Faith, and the exemplary life of Baháʼu'lláh’s eldest son, ʻAbdu'l-Bahá, who during several years of travel, visited New Jersey in 1912. Our geographical area stretches from the eastern edges of Bergen County (and includes Rockland County, NY) to the western reaches of Morris County. Activities for children, youth, and adults are held at The Wilhelm Baha’i Properties in Teaneck and in homes and community spaces throughout the region. We are involved in race amity efforts, interfaith dialogue, social discourse, service projects, education, and community building. All are welcome to join and collaborate with us as we work to build a better world.
